A function attended by over 300, including dignitories from the City of Southampton and the city's Public Health Director, has been a huge success for PYPT (UK) Trust.

The event organised by a PTPT Yog Teacher, Krishan Gupta, was attended by people from the Isle of Wight, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and other neighbourhoods. About 12 Yog Teachers travelled from the London area to support the event, including Pratibha Graham (National Yog Teacher Co-Ordinator), Mrs.& Mr.OP Yadav Ji, Kinnari Devyani, Swaran Ghataura,Nalini Padania, Mrs & Mr.Mohan Gill, Sunita Gill, PYPT Founder Members Mrs & Mrs OP Yadav; amongst others.

Krishan Gupta conducts Yog classes in Soutampton 5 days a week at different centres. He is actively looking to members of the local community to come forward and train to become Yog Teachers. The support from local MPs and health officials has been exceptional. PYPT Yog Teachers in Southampton have being approached by the local NHS Trust to promote Yog and Pranayam in the local community, with the help of the City Council and other organisations.
