International Yog Day 21st June

Aum Dear Teachers & Members Guidance for International Day of Yoga 2015 – “Yoga for Harmony and Peace” While addressing the United Nations, the Hon. Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, urged the world community to adopt an International Day of Yoga. Out of 193 members, 177 in consensuses adopted this UN general assembly resolution to establish 21st June as International Day of Yoga. Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust is honoured to be part of such a great event ,under the guidance of His Holiness Swami RamdevJi Maharaj, which will undoubtedly inspire many. This is also an opportunity for all our teachers and members to showcase PYP’s commitment towards yoga and spirituality. There are many events and classes taking place across the United Kingdom and indeed the world on the 21st June, in celebration of International Yoga Day. We would ask all our teachers and members to fully promote International Yoga Day at their respective classes, in the weeks preceding the event and especially the seven days prior to the 21st June. It is especially important that we collate the data for the 21st June and in order to assist us with this process PYP (UK) Trust will be distributing data sheets for completion at all classes taking place on the 21st June. Please find attached the PYP Data Sheet , if for whatever reason you are unable to print these , then please inform the PYP office on 0141-427-7510 or info@pypt.org and we will arrange to print them and forward them to your nominated address. Please forward details of the classes being held throughout the UK along with your involvement and suggestions for the upcoming International Yoga Day. We plan to advertise these on our website and Aastha TV; therefore an early response would be appreciated.

TESTIMONIALS

'Very much more relaxed and focused at work and more positive mental attitude all round. Also more flexible as classes went on. Could touch my toes from day 4 after a very long time of not being able to.'
